Hello!
I am Subir, a small time innovator from the city of Pune, western India. I specialize in making hardware prototypes, from high end scientific instrumentation to low end appropriate technology devices. I divide my time between R&D for commercial/scientific institutional spaces, R&D for the social sector and teaching of design, engineering, physics and mathematics. The joy and necessity of making meaningful machines makes me move around in search for such projects, often to be found in the NGO sectors serving people from underprivileged communities.
I do functional design, mechanics and electronics. I have a B.Sc. in physics, a M.Sc. in atmospheric science and a Ph.D. in IC engines.
